3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Low Odor Acrylic Adhesive DP8805NS is a low-odor acrylic adhesive, two-part and toughened, designed for fast, high-strength bonding in industrial and commercial applications where productivity, safety, and durability are critical.

This acrylic adhesive offers a very short 4-minute work life and reaches structural strength in approximately 9 minutes, which is about twice as fast as most comparable acrylic adhesives with a similar open time. This significantly increases throughput and productivity, especially in applications involving smaller parts and fast assembly cycles.

DP8805NS features a non-sag formulation that prevents running or slumping, allowing precise application on vertical and horizontal surfaces. Its low-odor and non-flammable properties contribute to a safer working environment compared to typical acrylic adhesives. The adhesive provides excellent shear strength and high impact resistance, resulting in durable and reliable bonded joints.

It is designed to bond difficult substrates such as powder-coated surfaces and most plastics, as well as composites and metals. Integrated spacer beads help control bond line thickness for consistent results. The product has an 18-month shelf life at room temperature, simplifying inventory management. Full cure is achieved within 24 hours.
