3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tape 56212 is a high-performance, 120 micron acrylic double-sided tape designed for versatile industrial bonding applications. Engineered with a thin cellulose (tissue) carrier and a poly-coated kraft (PCK) liner, this tape delivers dimensional stability, excellent handling, and precise die-cut and laminating performance.
Manufactured using a solvent-free adhesive coating process, it reduces solvent emissions, lowers energy consumption, and eliminates the need for solvent recovery systems — making it a more sustainable solution compared to traditional solvent-based double coated tapes.
Produced without solvents, helping reduce environmental impact. An annual usage of 100,000 m² eliminates approximately 7 tons of solvent compared to conventional solvent-based adhesive coating processes.
Provides high initial tack and durable bonding to foams, fabric substrates and high surface energy materials.
The thin cellulose tissue carrier ensures dimensional stability and improved handling, making it ideal for die-cut applications, laminating processes and automated production environments.
