The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Cut-Off Wheel is engineered to create precise perpendicular cuts using the outer edge of the wheel. This cut-off wheel is ideal for cutting through metal, including autobody and marine sheet metal, stainless steel tubing, exhaust pipes, clamps, rusted fasteners, and other metal components.

Powered by 3M Re-Engineered Precision Shaped Grain technology, the wheel features proprietary molecular bonding with sharp, angular grain structures that continuously fracture to form new sharp cutting points. This design enables faster cutting, cooler operation, and longer life compared to conventional abrasives.

Compared to 3M™ Cubitron™ II Performance Abrasives, this cut-off wheel delivers up to 10% higher cut rate, removes up to 3 times more material, and lasts up to 2 times longer than leading competitors. Its efficient cutting action requires less pressure, helping reduce operator fatigue while increasing productivity.

Designed to perform optimally at higher speeds, this wheel is well suited for use with powerful angle grinders. For maximum performance, pairing it with a high-performance 3M angle grinder is recommended. Always use a tool guard and never exceed the maximum operating speed marked on the wheel.
