Flexo Tapes
3M flexographic plate mounting tapes with Easy Mount adhesive are designed for mounting flexographic printing plates onto cylinders or sleeves. These mounting tapes provide exceptional printing precision for process, combination, and solid printing.
The 3M range of flexo tapes offers a complete range of foam densities and guarantees excellent print quality from process to combination and solid printing.
- Consistent thickness control allows printers to use multiple foam densities in the same printing job to optimize print quality.
- Using the 3M patented Easy Mount liner creates micro-channels on both adhesive surfaces. The crosshatched pattern forms a continuous and permanent network of micro-channels in the adhesive, allowing air to escape between the tape and cylinder/sleeve, as well as between the tape and plate.
- The adhesive on the linered side (plate side) is designed for mounting photopolymer plates. It provides excellent adhesion during printing and clean plate removal during demounting.
- The adhesive on the non-linered side (cylinder side) is designed for mounting on flexographic printing cylinders or sleeves. It allows easy application during mounting and clean removal during demounting.
